Pembrokeshire 12 hour Roadtrip!

Back in February we went holidaying in South Wales, we have been to Wales before and absolutely love the country. One of our day trips consisted of driving some of the Pembrokeshire coast. We started up at Fishguard where we sat in the harbour and had some brunch, we then worked our way all the way down driving coastal country roads with the most beautiful views until we ended up in Marloes looking out at Skomer Island.

The trip was incredible and the sights were like something from our wildest dreams, in this one day we experienced every type of beach you could imagine and we parked up and walked along every single one of them as well as taking lots of photos and skipping some stones! We also collected lots of shells!

The last beach at Marloes was by far the favourite of the day. The Sat Nav took us to the middle of nowhere and Adam was ready to go home but I knew there must be something good around somewhere as we were right near Skomer Island so I took him down this little footpath and after about 1 mile we found an amazing beach and were looking right out to Skomer Island! The rocks were incredible, the sun was setting, the sea was coming in and insanely rough (so rough that at one point I nearly got washed out to sea and Adam ran off and left me!). We have never seen a place like it, and it was so secluded and quiet. This is definately something that should be on everyone's bucket list! And you can do it all in one day!
